Also, if Ventura does not support your Mac model and you must be stuck with Monterey until you buy a new Mac, use these tricks to finish your tasks faster. Let’s go.
Suppose you want to take a Mac screenshot or take recordings of your screen, press Shift + Command + 5. This will bring up a set of tools and options. Choose whether you want to capture a window, the entire screen, or a portion of the screen. Also, you can choose to record a portion of the screen or the entire screen.
The addition of the quick notes feature in Monterey has made it easier to take notes instantly from anywhere. Take your cursor to the bottom right corner of your system and click on the quick note pad that will pop up. Then, write what you want on the note, which will be synced across your Apple devices.
The feature makes it efficient and convenient whenever you need to scribble down something quickly.
Navigate to the System Preferences app > Mission Control > Hot Corners > assign the Quick Note option to any of the screen’s four corners.
Safari’s Tab Groups
Tab Groups is one of the most efficient additions in macOS Monterey and the most significant addition to Safari. Users can create tab groups in the web browser and add multiple tabs from the same topic or website.
This feature comes in handy when you’re shopping for a product or researching something.
You can create a tab group in Safari by right-clicking on existing tabs and then choosing the option Move to tab group. You can create a new tab group or move the tab to an existing tab group. In addition, you can click the down arrow next to the sidebar icon to move the open tabs to a new tab group.
The tab groups will be synced across Apple devices.
Hide Your IP Address
Private relay is one of the most remarkable features added to Monterey. Enable this feature by heading to the System Preferences app > clicking on Apple ID > iCloud.
Once enabled, the feature will hide your IP address and secure your browsing activity from online trackers and advertisers to ensure the data remains anonymous. This feature will protect your data.
Even if the private relay feature is enabled, you will still get ads. But they will not be personalized as the advertisers cannot collect data from you.
Custom Focus Modes
The Focus feature primarily enhances your workflow and productivity by eliminating distractions. So you can focus on the tasks you need to finish. Use the Focus feature by clicking the Control Center icon and then Focus.
Then, you can select from the predefined focus modes available or create new ones by clicking on the preferences option.
Configure the focus modes to be enabled and disabled automatically during specified times. You can even block or allow notifications from specific people and applications.
The settings of this feature will be synced across your Apple devices, and your iMessage contacts can see the focus mode status when trying to connect to you.
With the Monterey update, Apple went further with the translation option that was introduced before. In addition, apple upgraded this option with the support of system-wide translation.

Texts can be translated into several languages, including Korean, Italian, Portuguese, German, etc.
The Live Text Feature
According to users, the Live Text feature is handy and exciting. The feature allows users to choose and interact with any text in any picture they can find on the Photos application, Screenshot, Safari, and Quick look applications. Moreover, users can copy and translate the text or use the lookup function by selecting and right-clicking on it.
An exciting part about Live Text is it recognizes the context of the text in the picture. So if it detects a phone number in an image, it will show you options to message or call. If the text detected is an address, it will automatically offer the option to look up the address in the maps application.
FaceTime arranges voices and matches the position in the FaceTime window. Therefore, it allows speakers to focus on the speaker during a group call. There’s also Portrait mode that blurs the background of the video so that everyone can concentrate on the speaker.
